Opticon is a Multinational, stock listed in Japan, that produces and sells technical equipment (sales and technical company). The total multinational consists of ±200 employees; Europe total ±75 empl.. The multinantional’s total turnover is ±90 million Euro. The European HQ has 7 subsidiaries in Europe and 1 in Asia. Opticon Sensors Europe BV in Hoofddorp (±30 empl.) has besides European HQ a Sales, Logistics and Service function.
Sales/logistics/service offices in Europe, US and Asia, sales to the rest of the world out of the Netherlands. Production by subcontracting in China/Japan

Functie omschrijving
- Responsible for Finance Management/Group Control of the European Headquarters (incl. subsidiary Netherlands)
- Reporting (monthly, quarterly etc.) to Managing Director and Japan, done by Finance Manager him/herself
- Consolidation of financial figures of (foreign) subsidiaries
- Analyzing, budget/forecast etc.
- Finance Application Control of ERP application (incl. support to subsidiaries where necessary)
- Coordination/communication with subsidiaries (Finance, ERP etc.)
- External and internal contacts (colleague managers, communication with US/Japan offices and Chinese subcontractors etc.)
- Finance Management of Accounting Holding/Sales Netherlands (1 bookkeeper)
- Where relevant further improving Finance function and ERP application for HQ and daughters
- Participation in desired changes in multinational organization together with colleague managers
- Maintenance/improving of Accounting and Reporting directives to subsidiaries
- Administrative Organization and Internal Control
- As far as relevant personnel and legal matters
- Treasury/Cash Flow
- Tax/insurance etc.
- As far as necessary visits to subsidiaries
- The Finance Manager (end responsible for Finance) reports to the Managing Director (Japanese CEO)
- Finance department exists currently of the Finance Manager and 1 Bookkeeper

Functie eisen
- Capable Finance Manager
- Sufficient relevant Finance/Controlling/Accounting and ERP/Fin. Application experience
- Good Group Controlling skill (coordination, experience with foreign daughters)
- Sufficient experience with Consolidation processes
- Experience in multinational companies (preferable in Japanese Companies)
- Well educated in Finance/Economics (Higher education)
- Affinity and feeling for IT and Finance ERP applications (incl. good knowledge Excel)
- Known with the general accepted Accounting and Reporting rules and/or IFRS
- Capable to work totally independent (CEO often abroad, mail contact)
- No problem with working in small Finance department and doing hands on tasks (reporting etc.) and also high level issues in finance and business
- Good communication/coordination qualities, preferable corporate view
- Good/stable personality, pro-active, reliable

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Salary 75-90 K plus: car, non-contributory pension, compensation medical expenses
